The Talos Principle 2 is a first-person puzzle game, just like its predecessor. It adds new gameplay elements like mind transference and gravity manipulation to the first game's principles. The player must solve eight distinct riddles in each of the game's twelve major locales in order to finish The Talos Principle II's primary plot. There are optional riddles throughout the game that, when solved, reveal further mysteries. "Sparks" are concealed in various locations for players to locate. Players can solve a puzzle without solving it by using a spark.
